“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn (Isa. 60:1-3).
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ (2 Cor. 4:6).
The “Glory Movement” is a movement within the Body of Christ that focuses primarily on the Glory of God, His Presence, and how His Presence demonstrates among His People. The Glory of God demonstrated powerfully throughout the Word The Children of Israel saw the Glory of God as fire, smoke, miracles, wind, etc. (see Exodus 24:17). The disciples saw and heard the Glory of God in much the same way, fire, wind, etc (see Acts 2).
The Glory Movement focuses strongly on “soaking” in the Presence and simply waiting on Him. Services that are birthed in the Glory Movement tend to have reports such as “I felt God so strongly,” “it was like there was electricity in the air,” “I saw angels,” “Gold dust sprinkled us…” etc. Demonstrations within the Glory Movement are often remarkable – shaking, spiritual drunkenness, trances, visions, and ecstatic experiences.
The Glory Movement is a part of CN’s spiritual DNA and gives a distinction to the CN’s ministry.
